Simplistic Charcoal Pet/Wildlife Portraits

These are charcoal pencil portraits in a minimalistic style on ether toned gray paper (cat) or blue paper (shark).

Pricing

Pricing quote starts at a minimum of $240 for an 8x10" or smaller for one subject without a background.

Size of artwork, number of subjects, complexity of subject(s), and other elements will matter on the price. Please reach out to me to discuss details of what you're looking for in a portrait and I will give you a quote.

Please note, I do NOT take works involving human subjects.

Artwork Containing More Than One Pet

The minimum size requirement for a portrait of at least 2 pets (heads only) is an 11x14."

For more than 2, please let me know and we can discuss the desired size larger than 11x14" and the amount of pets on the piece. The largest available size I have available is 18x24"

Also, please be sure they are within the same photograph. This will ensure more accuracy on the lighting and size difference between each pet. If I am presented separate photos of them in completely different settings, lighting, and have to adjust shadowing on other subjects for it to sync with the other, this will result in doubling the cost of the entire portrait quote. I am also more than happy to create artwork of each pet on their own separate pieces.

Mats

Mats are recommended before framing.

8x10" artwork automatically comes with an 11x14" sized black mat and 11x14" artworks come in 16x20" sized black mats.

Other art sizes do not include a mat. If matting is wanted for sizes that are not accompanied by mats or if you'd like a different size of mat from what I mentioned in the first sentence, please reach out to me for a quote. Custom mats will be cut via third party. After I get the quote, I will add it on top of the portrait cost.

Shopping around town and looking for a framer local near you to cut you a mat and place your artwork in it is also an option.

Non-Refundable Deposit

Commissions require a 50% deposit before any work is to be started. This deposit is non-refundable.

Payment Method

Pay-Pal is the only method of payment at this time. I will not accept checks or money orders.

After discussion of the project, I will send you an invoice of the deposit via PayPal.

Shipping fee

Shipping for residents in the USA is included in the price. I am not currently accepting international shipping at this time.

All shipments are via USPS Priority mail and includes insurance and tracking..

Turnaround Time

Turnaround time will depend on the project and how booked I am. The minimum turnaround time for a project is 3 weeks.

After we discuss the project, I will provide you an ETA on when I will complete it.
